Zero Air Generator GNG-01
is designed for receiving zero air with normalized content of the following impurities: Nitric Oxide (NO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Ozone (О3), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Ammonia (NH3), Carbon Monoxide (СО) and Hydrocarbons (CH). The GNG-01 can be used for calibration and verification of gas analyzers for monitoring of ambient air, the air of the working area, also it can be used as a diluent gas for dynamic and thermodiffusion generators of different calibration gas mixtures.
Generator is a working standard of the 1st Grade in compliance with the State hierarchy scheme for measuring instruments of the content of components in gaseous mediums (GOST 8.578-2008).
Generators are included to the State Register of measuring instruments of RF № 26765-15.
CONSTRUCTION
Generator GNG- 01 is a stationary device, executed in the form of two blocks: the compressor and the purification. Compressor unit carries out air intake, pre-treatment of solids, drying, cooling, condensate drainage and maintaining constant pressure at the outlet of system. The purification unit filters pressurized air with special scrubbers (filters) from background impurities and dust from a reactor.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Pressurized air that came out from the compressor and has an increased relative humidity, is cooled in serpentine cooler. Condensate is separated and removed to the outside through a special filter. Then partially dehumidified air flows into the receiver, which is used to maintain constant pressure. Then air goes on dehumidifier, which is filled with aluminium oxide, where separation from moisture and purification from solids is carried out.
Through the reducer that regulates outlet pressure of the generator air is fed into the purification unit where Nitrogen Oxides, Sulfur Dioxide, Ozone, Hydrogen Sulfide, and Ammonia are removed.
At the final stage dry air flows through the reactor heated to 250 °С for catalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide CO and hydrocarbons to carbon dioxide CO2. Then purified dry air flows through the granular filter, which entraps particles larger than 10 microns.
